A MEANINGFUL PROJECT THAT IS BOTH CULTURALLY INSPIRING AND NOURISHES THE COMMUNITY!

LOVE AT MID-AUTUMN 2026

Celebrating cultural heritage and giving back, Fête Chinoise’s annual Love at Mid-Autumn Charity Campaign has donated over a net of $272,800 (as of the end of 2025 Campaign) to Canadian charities to date (Markham Stouffville Hospital, SickKids Foundation, the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab Hospital, the Scarborough Health Network, and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra).

Each year, we honour the memories that connect us to the festival while creating new ones through community and giving. In partnership with St. Germain Bakery, we create a collector’s edition mooncake gift set to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋節). Traditionally enjoyed when the moon is at its fullest on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, mooncakes symbolise completeness, family unity, and reunion.

In 2025, the campaign expanded with a National Art & Colouring Contest and the community celebration A Mid-Autumn Night’s Dream in Downtown Markham, reaching families across Canada. In 2026, Love at Mid-Autumn will continue to bring people together in the spirit of generosity, tradition, and shared celebration.

If you're interested in becoming a sponsor, supporting the campaign, or getting involved in any means, we’d love to hear from you! Contact us at info@fetechinoise.ca.

Project History

Since launching in 2021 during the COVID lockdowns, this pilot initiative has raised over $272,800 for meaningful causes. From supporting Mental Health & Wellness Program at Markham Stouffville Hospital to aiding the Ukrainian Paediatric Assistance Fund and the Herbie Fund at SickKids Foundation, as well as helping children with disabilities and complex medical needs at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab Hospital, the impact has been far-reaching. Most recently, in 2024, it raised $68,800 for Scarborough Health Network and the Fête Chinoise Cultural Foundation while delivering our signature heart-shaped mooncakes to over 1,200 families nationwide. Born from a passion for design and community, this initiative continues to spread love and hope, celebrating the diversity and inclusivity of our country.
