In the Mood for Mahjong

Traditionally on Mid-Autumn night, following a warm family dinner, families gather in local parks to admire the full moon, light brilliant paper lanterns, share sweet mooncakes, and connect deeply with one another.

We’re thrilled to bring this cherished cultural tradition to life right here in our community. Join us in the heart of Markham to celebrate the beauty of the season with family and friends!

• Creative Craft & Colouring Stations: Make your own themed DIY paper lantern, button pin, magnets, and paint your own mahjong tile!

• A Festive Marketplace featuring delicious local food, activities, souvenirs, and artisanal vendors

• Portrait Studio moment with our professional photographer to capture beautiful memories with loved ones 

• Themed Photo ops with festive decor and special vehicles 

• Elevated Interactive Activations hosted by our partners, including Porsche Centre Markham, Holt Renfrew, TD Bank, Pears Restaurant, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra 

• Gallery of Art + Colour showcasing the best and winning entries of our National Art & Colouring Contest

• Traditional Lantern Riddles to test your wit

• Silent Auction: A chance to bid on a special mahjong set in support of our beneficiaries

One ticket per person is required for entry. Free admission for children 10 and under — with a paid adult ticket, no separate ticket needed for the little ones.
