Join the Love at Mid-Autumn 2026 National Art Contest celebrating the rich culture, philosophy, craftsmanship, and intergenerational stories behind Mahjong. Designed as both a creative activity and educational experience, this year’s contest sheets encourage participants to explore the symbolism, heritage, and artistry rooted in Mahjong culture.

Upload a scan or photo of your completed art through the online submission form at www.loveatmidautumn.ca. Contestants must use the templated official art sheets provided by Fête Chinoise. Other entries will not be accepted.Submission Categories

Winners will be announced by September 14, 2026. Each category will have 3 winners (1st prize, 2nd prize, and 3rd prize). Winners will be exhibited at the Community Event in Markham, and receive a gift package from Fête Chinoise and partnering brands with a retail value of $100-$500.Important Notes
All forms of colouring and drawing/art are encouraged and welcomed. This may include but is not limited to: pencil/pencil crayon, watercolour, ink, crayons, paint, marker, chalk pastel, charcoal, paper mâché, sand, felt, and other creative mediums.
Entries will be judged based on creativity by a panel of judges.
AI-generated artwork will not be accepted.
A valid email and Fête Chinoise subscription (free) are required to access downloads and enter the competition. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
Winners will be contacted via email to submit a high-resolution scan of their artwork for exhibition at the Community Event of Markham. Contestants are encouraged to submit a high-resolution (300 dpi) scan or photo at the time of entry submission.
