Celebrate the Year of the Horse with a Luxurious Lunar New Year Brunch at TOCA

As the Year of the Horse gallops in, The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto invites guests to embrace the spirit of new beginnings with its exquisite Lunar New Year Brunch Buffet at TOCA on February 22. Following the success and warmth of Fête Chinoise’s 2026 Signature Event, this special brunch promises a sumptuous and celebratory culinary experience for families, friends, and food enthusiasts alike.

The brunch buffet presents a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary flavours. Guests can indulge in the Dim Sum Bar, featuring pork siu mai, shrimp hargow, pearl meatballs with sticky rice, vegetarian dumplings, and more. The Carving Station highlights Peking Duck with scallions and pancakes, as well as crispy skin pork belly with abalone sauce. For soup lovers, the nourishing Winter Melon Soup, made with silkie chicken, dried scallop, goji berries, and mushrooms, provides a comforting sense of home for both body and soul.

The buffet also features an impressive range of entrées, including Cantonese steamed seabass with fried ginger and coriander, braised beef shank, braised abalone with mushrooms, and classic vegetable dishes such as steamed gai-lan with garlic. Guests can also enjoy live fried rice and noodle stations, offering a dynamic and interactive dining experience.

No Lunar New Year celebration is complete without desserts. A luxurious assortment awaits, including matcha and red bean roll cakes, ube opera cake, salted egg yolk mooncakes, coconut pandan sago, and Thai milk tea crème brûlée. The decadent spread is further complemented by a chocolate fountain, fresh fruit selection, and a baker’s selection of pastries.

The brunch is scheduled from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., with the last seating at 1:30 p.m. on February 22. Guests are encouraged to book early to secure a spot for this memorable celebration, with a 72-hour cancellation policy in effect.
