The Hong Kong Fashion Fest Gala was held in the Grand Ballroom at the luxurious Rosewood Hong Kong Hotel on the evening of September 3rd, 2026. The high-profile gala brought together international and local designers, industry fashion leaders and celebrities to experience a night of fashion, art and culture.
All guests arriving by car were dropped off at the roundabout driveway of the hotel’s second floor. Invitees entering the hotel proceeded up the central sculptural staircase inspired by the curved staircase of the Paris Opera House, made of limestone and black Marquina natural stone — a dramatic backdrop for stunning pictures and local media was gathered on the first floor waiting to capture photos of the impressive host of celebrity guests.

The Moet was flowing as guests mingled in the Grand Ballroom foyer or outside on The Lawn—a grassy area with direct view of the always-breathtaking Victoria Harbour directly adjacent to the ballroom.
Notable attendees included Five-time HK Olympian Swimmer Stephanie Au, wearing designer Vivian Luk, who showcased her latest couture collection at the VIRTUOSE fashion show just two nights prior.
Korean model Irene Kim and Hong Kong-Canadian actress and model Elva Ni wore couture creations by Vietnamese designer Phan Huy.
Gawon from MEOVV also made an appearance in a dress designed by Disaya—a Thai designer and one of the award recipients in the “10 Asian Designers to Watch Award Presentation Ceremony”.

As guests were seated in the Grand Ballroom, the night kicked off with an acknowledgement and celebration of fashion with the debut of the “10 Asian Designers to Watch Fashion Show and Award Presentation Ceremony” which showcased designer collections from Seoul, Thailand, Philippines, China, and Hong Kong. Models walked down a long runway spotlighted in the middle of the room. The ending of the show amalgamated in each designer coming out to stand with their designs, filling the catwalk with innovation and top-tier craftsmanship.
Mid-way through dinner, a special performance by dancers from the Hong Kong Ballet costumed by designer Robert Wun took place on the catwalk. The contemporary performance was set to classic songs by Hong Kong band Beyond which imbued the performance with nostalgia for those of us who grew up listening to Beyond’s music. A meaningful and memorable cultural moment to top the night.
The Hong Kong Fashion Gala 2026 is sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) under the Culture Sports and Tourism Bureau and organized by the Hong Kong Fashion Council (HKFC).
