Unexpectedly in the middle of a global pandemic, this couple's love story began during wedding planning for others. From a serendipitous encounter to a rapid courtship, their narrative unfolded with resilience and determination, and led to the creation and planning of their own wedding, less than a year after meeting each other.

Tiffany and Rex’s love story started while working together in the wedding industry during COVID. Despite initial anonymity behind masks, they connected. Their own wedding theme, “Zen & an Ancient Chinese Wonderland,” reflected their cultural heritage and inner energy. Every detail, meticulously planned by Fleur Weddings, held symbolic significance.

The invitation, featuring a Taiji magatama, symbolized their union, while hand-drawn designs of a wolf and a fox represented their inner spirits. Cultural rituals, including a creative guest sign-in and custom-made seating plan, added depth. Table numbers named after Chinese herbal medicines and wedding favours in the form of Chinese bamboo wind chimes, adorned with the groom's handwritten blessings, thoughtfully tied in tradition.

The venue underwent a stunning transformation starting at 6 o' clock in the morning, with 2000 meters of light green gauze draped elegantly, followed by green thread curtains and floral arrangements suspended from the ceiling. Bamboo forests, artificial mountains, and moon elements created a fairyland of serenity. Each table centerpiece was unique, adding personal flair and interesting experience for guests.

Their 10-course Chinese dinner symbolized perfection and smoothness in marriage, balanced by traditional attire and a Western-style wedding itinerary. With professional planners adeptly handling challenges, their favourite moment was the first look with decor, showcasing the beauty of their wedding atmosphere. Overall, their day blended cultural symbolism with aesthetic elegance, creating an unforgettable memory for their family and friends.

“We chose this venue mainly because it was dark and having a full range of lighting effects. It could be easily turned into the theme we envisioned, which was Zen & an Ancient Chinese-styled Wonderland. Together with its lighting effects, we captured the sense of wonderland.”

“The most memorable moment was our first look at the decor. We were very impressed with the decorations.”
