On May 28, SickKids hosted an Asian Heritage Month celebration: Celebration Our Heritage, Healing Our Future, an evening dedicated to exploring the role of philanthropy in building a healthier future for the next generation. Hosted by Jennifer Bernard and moderated by Hua Yu, the event brought together community leaders, supporters, and changemakers for thoughtful conversations on giving, legacy, and impact.

Panelists Linda Ku, Debbie Lai, and Kevin Au-Yeung shared their perspectives on philanthropy and community engagement, highlighting the growing contributions of Asian Canadians to causes that strengthen healthcare, research, and social wellbeing. Attendees also heard from members of the SickKids team about the transformative impact of donor support on patient care and medical innovation.

The evening served as a meaningful reminder of how cultural values, community leadership, and collective generosity can come together to create lasting change.

Fête Chinoise was delighted to be on-site with our keepsake publications, to support such an important organization that has impacted thousands of families in our community.
