Today marks the final day of Ming Pao Canada's daily newspaper. After decades of serving and delivering news in Chinese to the community, Canada's last Chinese-language newspaper has decided to shut down, with the company officially ceasing operations by the end of this month.

As a publication that is produced both in print and digitally, we recognise the enduring and distinguished value of print form, and believe our work can serve as a keepsake for future generations. The closure of Ming Pao has prompted us to reflect on the significance of printed media in today’s digital age.
