Yueh Tung Restaurant (Toronto) released their Mother’s Day Gift Set in support of Asian owned female operated local businesses whose shops have been affected by COVID-19. For each set sold a portion of proceeds will go towards the #StopAsianHate Movement and donated to the non-profit organization, Chinese Collective Arts Association.

Each set is pick up only and will include a meal for 6-8, flowers, dessert, cocktail kit and a gift for mom:

An eight-course meal from Yueh Tung Restaurant, featuring both off-menu personal favourites and restaurant classics, curated by owner Mei Wang. The menu will feature: chili chicken, Hakka tofu stew, tandoori shrimp fried rice, dim sum: har gow and siu mai, crispy sweet beef, Yueh Tung noodles and garlic green beans.

A modern floral arrangement mixed with roses, lisanthus, spray roses and dried and faux floweres by Hanna Paasa from Fleur du Solenn.

A set of six Asian-inspired macarons – white rabbit candy, Thai milk tea, ube, matcha, yuzu, and earl grey – baked by Krizia Reyes of Reyes I Make Cakes.

A handcrafted, specialty Mama-Spritzer cocktail kit, created by Toronto Life's resident bartender, Evelyn Chick.

A “Mama Juice” thermal cocktail/coffee tumbler, personalized by calligraphy artist Barbara Kua of the Lettering Studio.

Three jars of tasty Hakka sauces – Chili Chicken, Manchurian and Sweet and Sour – from Vooka Foods sisters Jeanette and Joanna Liu.

Gift Boxes are available for pickup from May 6 to May 9 at Yueh Tung Restaurant.

The last day to purchase your gift box will be Monday, May 4, 2021.


*$10 from every box sold will be donated to non profit organization, Chinese Collective Arts Association (CCAA). Funds will be used to help CCAA continue hosting more free performances and events in our city to help empower our youth embrace their heritage and recognize the importance of diversity and inclusion in today's multicultural world.
